undertext was built around one motion: Scripture, then the original word beneath it, then one quiet question, then one thing to actually do today. that last step is the part no faith app owns — and it is the part that gives a church something it has never had before.

the depth Logos doesn't carry

mark siljander, a lifelong aramaic and peshitta scholar, is bringing his life's work to undertext. the relational meaning beneath the greek: Yahsuah, the rope through the eye of the needle, womb-compassion, the cry from the cross as destiny rather than abandonment. hallow has no original-language layer at all; logos has greek and hebrew but not this aramaic root, at this granularity, from this voice.

Christ stays at the center. nothing is generated, nothing is invented — every word beneath the verse comes from a named, cited source. Grace is a companion, not a chatbot; she carries the scholarship, she does not replace the Spirit's work in a person.

a member can hand a verse to someone who has never installed anything. they tap a code or a link, and the receiver is met instantly — on that exact verse, in hebrew, greek, and the aramaic, spoken aloud — through undertext's app clip. no download, no account, no wall. it is live today across more than thirty thousand verse codes. for a church trying to reach the person who would never open a bible app, the door opens before the app is ever installed.

none of the four above exists yet. they are what the church layer is being built to do, and this is the line it is being built on: a member's reflections stay theirs. a church would see patterns and themes, never an individual's notes. that boundary is not a setting to switch off later, it is the shape of the thing, and if it cannot be built that way it does not get built.
